Privacy Policy

The student's safety and well being is of primary concern. To ensure that the safety of every student is not compromised in any way I have set some guidelines for this website and all of its pages.

This site is C.O.P.P.A. Act Compliant. You may view the 1998 Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) on the Federal Trade Commission's website at: http://www.ftc.gov/ogc/coppa1.pdf.

This site does not collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 without prior written approval of a parent or legal guardian. This includes photos, sound clips or original compositions. Parental Approval Forms may be obtained in the classroom from Mrs. Barrett.

Students cannot post anything on this website.

Students can email Mrs. Barrett questions through this email: leslie@mrsbarrettsclassroom.com. Information collected on this site will not be disclosed to any party not involved with providing a quality educational experience for the student.

While photographs of various classroom activities will be posted on this site from time to time, student names will not be directly associated with such photographs. Before a student’s photograph is posted to this website, full permission must be granted by the parents or guardians by filling out a Parental Approval Form.
